Advisories NCA February 2022 Exam Results

Results from the February 2022 exam session are now available for the following exams:

  • Business Organizations (April 5, 2022)
  • Canadian Criminal Law (March 31, 2022)
  • Canadian Professional Responsibility (March 31, 2022)
  • Contracts (March 31, 2022)
  • Taxation (March 31, 2022)
  • Torts (March 31, 2022)

To access your exam results, log in to your NCA portal and select the Exam History tab.

Late Registration for Canadian Exams in May (Canadian Professional Responsibility, Canadian Criminal Law and Contracts only)

If you failed your Canadian Professional Responsibility, Canadian Criminal Law, and/or Contracts exams in February and would like the opportunity to re-write it/them in May, late registration will be made available until Thursday, April 7, 2022 at 23:00 ET. Please register through the NCA PortalThis option is NOT available to those who failed the subject for the third or fourth time.

Requesting your Certificate of Qualification

If, with these exam results, you have successfully completed all of your assigned requirements, please follow the steps below to request your Certificate of Qualification. Once your request is received we will verify your status and issue an email notice to the specified Law Society. The NCA has resumed partial in-office operations, including issuing Certificates by mail.  However, there is a significant backlog of requests.  We ask for your patience as we work to reduce the backlog.

To request a Certificate:

Log into your account.
Click/tap on “Request Certificate” tab.
Complete the form and click/tap “Submit”

Exam Review

NCA provides applicants with an opportunity to review failed exam(s) free of charge. Those with unsuccessful exams will be sent an email indicating how to access the examiner’s memo outlining the reasons for the results, and the failed exam. Questions about exam reviews can be directed to ftang@flsc.ca.
